Drainage 10 fairway

On Monday the staff started trenching for drainage in the 10th fairway.  This week is filled with rain, so we wanted to get the trenching done and the dirt removed from the fairway before the rain comes Monday night
Sod was cut and pulled to the side to use to put back on top of the trenches once we finished the trenching
All the dirt has been removed. Sorry, the guys worked faster than I expected and it was all picked up when I came back out to check on them. "Great Job Team"
On Tuesday, it was a complete wash out so Wednesday the fairway was so wet we had to load 5 gallon buckets with gravel and sand from the Cart paths then walk it to the drains for back filling.
Here is the fairway after everything was complete.

Various winter task

Staff have been steam cleaning course Acessories. Big difference
Making tee markers. New ones are made each year. Natural wood limbs. Cost approximately $200 for all of them. Not counting labor dollars
Making concrete/fieldstone cart path edging/pull off areas. We had the rock originally embedded in the dirt but have decided to incorporate them into concrete since the rocks were continually moving out of place.

Scobar stump grinding here to grind 56 stumps. The crew has removed several trees around the course that were dead or causing too much shade, or crowding other more definite trees. Our staff will work at picking up shavings and backfilling with dirt next week.
Installing French drains at the beginning of 18 fairway.

Drainage has been added and sod had been place back over the drainage trench
