Thanks to the tropical storm the rye grass has come in nice and uniformed. It is day 14 and we are cutting the rye for the first time. The mowers are set at higher heights to protect the seed from being pulled out of the ground. Height adjustments will be made through out the Next couple of weeks.
The greens have recovered well. With all the rain, heights were raised last week to prevent scalping. We are now in the process of lowering the greens heights each day until we are satisfied with the growth habit and playability.
