Greens Aeration and Fairway Aeration

We started out with verti-cutting greens. We adjusted the vertical blades to cut down at 1/8 of an inch. Seems like we got a good amount of thatch and debris from the greens surface. These channels will allow a good place for the sand topdressing to fill in along with aiding in thatch management and plant health.
Another view of the verti-cutting

Aerating of the greens followed the verti-cutting. We used a 1/2 inch tines on a 3 inch spacing. Sand topdress was applied after the plugs were cleaned up from the green

William is putting down rye grass in the fairways for winter and  spring playing conditions, germination should happen in 5-7 days
