Aerating the greens with 1/2 inch tines. This will help water infiltration, thatch reduction, and provide good air and oxygen exchange for the roots which makes for a healthy bentgrass putting surface.
Here you can see the man power it takes to clean up after the aerator and topdressing has been completed
This is a picture of #2 green with a thick layer of topdressing on it. The sand will be brushed and blown into the aeration holes to provide a good growth environment for the roots system. The sand will also provide some firmness to the putting surface in a few week.
Here is a picture of number 3 green after the aeration and topdressing has been completed. We should see full recover in about two weeks.
