Aeration week

Deep tine on greens:  This is a .5 inch solid that penetrates down to a 10 inch depth.  This will allow for the bentgrass roots to grow longer and produce a health bentgrass green

This is our standard aeration machine that pulls a core out of the greens.  It is .5 inches and spacing is at 2.5 inches.

Guys are cleaning up the plugs so the green can be topdressed with sand

Rolling the greens after the sand has been dragged into the aeration holes on the greens

We also fertilized the ryegrass this week to make for a great spring playing surface.
